Two Paintings I sliced and then wove together to make one original "Daily Painting"

Tranquility Series

This is from my softer side. I am not one to think much about the weather and I will almost always flip the channel when the local news starts droning on about the weather. But I have to say, it has felt like San Fransisco these past few days in St. Louis.

I think that's why I painted so tranquil today. It brought back wonderful memories of sitting in wonderful cafe's, sipping a great Pinot Noir, and reading a good book.

Quad

This is a side view of "Quad". The edges are also painted with the uneven lines.

The title to this new piece is "Quad". This was designed to hang vertically, horizontally, in a square, in a diamond, etc... You decide which way suits you.

Daily 8-23-06

Daily 8-7-06

I am finally getting caught up on my matt cutting. I really hate cutting matts but I can not image how much it would cost me to have them custom cut. I have been working on the August Daily paintings. Thought I would toss up this image.

The Daily Series

I started doing the Daily Series back in April of 2005. I love painting them and you can read more about it HERE

All the Daily paintings are titled by the date they were created. I have this one hanging in my living room. I love how the color bounces off of it in different lights.

Better late than never!!

I figured it was time to finally get a Blog going. I have been asked many times but have always put it off.
